Two weeks later SURPRISE they didn't refund my payment, they took a second one. ![]() They said within 2 weeks we will send you a refund. They took a payment for the vehicle I returned after it was traded. This will not happen - not with this type of experience. The kicker - I had agreed with the dealership to finance the new car with them as well (Infiniti/Nissan). 24 business days to give someone their money is beyond ridiculous. I am now looking into lodging a complaint with the BBB of Canada. The dealership called them yesterday and asked to have someone call me, they agreed to have a supervisor/manager call me before end of day - ALSO DID NOT HAPPEN. Called back two days later and was told that a manager would call me before the end of the day. She said a manager would return my call that day, that didn't happen. I told her that this was completely unacceptable and would like to speak to someone that could expedite this along as I want my money. Although it was 15 business days in total, even if they started counting the days from deposit, I should get my money earlier than they are planning to transfer it to me (by two business days). 24 business days from the time of receipt until I get my refund! She also noted that it took them 8 business days to deposit the cheque. The customer service agent said I would not get my money for another 9 business days. I called on the 15th business day to ask when my money would be transferred. ![]() Nissan Finance of Canada stated that it would take 15 business days upon receipt of the cheque before they would refund my portion of the cheque (which almost 3/4 of the total cheque - a big cheque). ![]()
